February 4: San Diego - Red Trolley Classic Criterium
Toyota-United Pro Cycling takes their first win of the season at the 4th Annual Red Trolley Classic Criterium in San Diego. The ?Top Gun Course? was a fast .6 mile four corner course with a small rolling hill into the finish. The race started with several fast laps that kept the peloton in a tight group, the main breakaway of the day featured Justin England and Jose Manuel (Chepe) Garcia. More excitement came when English and Garcia were called back to join the entire Toyota United squad at the front of the peloton. Together the team chased down the breakaway and provided a lead out train that helped propel Ivan Dominguez to victory, giving Toyota-United their first win of the season.
