The Toyota-United Pro Cycling Team placed five of its six riders in the top 25 in Wednesday?s opening time trial at the 21st annual Ben D. Altamirano Tour of the Gila in Tyrone, N.M.
Chris Baldwin?s third-place finish put him on the podium in a time trial for the second time this season while teammate Stefano Barberi also finished in the top 10. Baldwin is the race?s defending champion.
The Tour of the Gila is a five-day, five-stage, 339.1-mile (545.7 km) National Race Calendar event run in and around Silver City, N.M.

Stefano Barberi had an early start time - when the winds were blowing at their hardest - but still managed a 10th place finish.
Chris Baldwin, the 2003 and 2005 national time trial champion, averaged 27.9 mph in finishing third in the 16.15-mile (26 km) time trial.
