Toyota-United?s Ivan Stevic regained the race lead with a stunning performance in the Stage 3 individual time trial. The Serbian National Champion was only nine seconds slower than stage winner Nathan O?Neil (Health Net presented by Maxxis), while teammate Chris Baldwin finished fourth to climb from 34th to fifth overall.

Stevic covered the five-mile (8.0 km) out-and-back course in nine minutes and 38 seconds for an average speed of 31.1 mph.

In 26th place, Caleb Manion is Toyota-United?s third-placed rider on the overall classification after the time trial.
