In just three seasons as a pro, Caleb Manion has already compiled an impressive track record, earning seven wins in his first year alone and posting strong results in major races - including the 2006 Tour de Georgia, where he had three top five stage finishes.

Last year, the Australian was also instrumental in a number of wins for his former Jelly Belly Pro Cycling Team squad and often assumed a leadership role in longer stage races.

His commitment as a team player and proven abilities to place well in big races were key factors in Toyota-United?s signing of Manion, as was his overall fit for the team. With the caliber of teammates he?ll have to assist him, Team Director Harm Jansen feels Manion can win even more races.

After riding tremendously to support several of his Toyota-United teammates in victories of their own ? including a valiant performance on the final stage of the Nature Valley Grand Prix for overall winner Ivan Stevic ? Manion saw his season end abruptly with a broken collarbone on Aug. 4 at the Presbyterian Hospital Invitational Criterium.
